Held in ropes - and finally free
A journey through Tantra Massage & Shibari
It began with a knot.
Not on my skin - but somewhere deep within me.
A quiet longing. A silent pull between control and surrender.
I didn’t know where this journey would lead.
But I knew: something in me wanted to be held - not restrained, but truly felt.
When the rope becomes a language
Before any hands touched me, I was touched by silence.
A space without rush, without demands, without questions.
Then came the rope.
It didn’t trap me - it framed me.
Like a sacred circle through which I could begin to see myself anew.
Each knot whispered: You are safe.
You don’t have to do anything.
You’re allowed to just be.
The moment of stillness
When my body became still, my inner world became loud.
Not in a painful way - but in a vivid one.
I heard my breath.
I felt my skin, my boundaries, my heart.
The touch was slow, warm, unfamiliar in its gentleness.
Nothing was asked of me.
And for that very reason - I felt everything.
There was no escape.
Only presence.
And in that presence, something began to shift.
Transformation through touch
Something inside me started to let go.
Not through words - but through sensation.
I felt old layers. Old stories.
Places in my body I had abandoned long ago.
And at the same time, I felt a softness rising in me.
A tenderness I hadn’t known I was missing.
A quiet, sacred reminder: You are allowed to love yourself. Just as you are.
I wasn’t just touched – I was remembered
Remembered as whole.
As sacred.
As someone allowed to receive, without giving, without pleasing, without performing.
I wasn’t passive.
I was awake. Present. Feeling.
And that’s exactly where the healing began.
A new way of feeling
After the session, the world didn’t change - but I did.
My breath was deeper. My walk was softer.
I touched my body no longer like an object - but like a friend.
In the days that followed, I noticed:
I was setting different boundaries.
I was listening to my needs.
I stayed closer to myself - and stayed there longer.
This wasn’t an escape.
It was a return.
A quiet shift.
A new foundation.
Afterglow
I came to be held - and found the strength to hold myself.
I let myself be bound—and became freer than I ever thought possible.
If you feel the pull - not to do more, but to feel more deeply -
then walk this path.
Let yourself be wrapped, to become unbound.
Let yourself be touched, to come home to yourself.
Because sometimes, transformation begins the moment
we stop trying to be something -
and simply become who we already are.
